Combining polyester fiber and polyamide fiber, Black Mirror® stands as a multi-functional composite fiber featuring a unique fiber shape and an extra large amount of functional additives. This makes it suitable for different applications and offer superior wearing experience.

Technological Innovations

Shape of sheath-core composite yarn
A special composite spinning process makes Black Mirror® fiber looser, softer, more skin-friendly, breathable and moisture permeable than common polyester fiber and polyamide fiber. Such a process also makes its possible to add an extra large amount of functional materials.


An extra large amount of functional additive powder: 15%

In spite of the groundbreaking use of an extra large amount of functional powder, the sheath-core composite spinning technology ensures stable outer yarn and eliminates processing loss and quality defects caused by the extra large amount of functional powder. Meanwhile, an extra large amount of powder is added in the core layer to endow the yarn with unprecedentedly powerful functions.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Heat shielding

Black Mirror® uses an extra large amount of functional materials to significantly shield and reflect UV rays, thus keeping the surface at a lower temperature and making Black Mirror® textile cooler and more comfortable.

Tests have shown that Black Mirror® is over 2°C cooler than common fabrics when exposed to sunlight.

According to the report (Japan Boken standard: JIS L 1951) Black Mirror® is over 2°C cooler than common fabrics when exposed to sunlight.

UV resistant

Black Mirror® blocks UV rays emitted by the sun and reduces damage to skin. Compared with conventional anti-UV products, Black Mirror® exhibits higher resistance to UV rays, and the UPF can reach above 1000.
